His remarkable leadership qualities and commitment to student well-being led to his election as a National Executive member of the National Union of Students in 2013, demonstrating his ability to advocate for the rights and interests of students across the country. Election to the National Union of Students Executive Committee In 2013, Kirat Raj Singh etched his name in history by becoming the first Sikh to be elected to the National Union of Students (NUS) Executive Committee in its 90-year history. With over 7 million members, the NUS is the largest student body in the United Kingdom.
